This book chronicles the life of Boris Vasilyevich Anrep (1883β1969), a Russian monumental artist and writer of the Silver Age. Anrep became a prominent English artist, with his mosaics adorning the National Gallery, Royal Military Academy, Westminster Cathedral, and the Bank of England. His relationship with Anna Akhmatova was significant, as she dedicated over thirty poems to him. Their final meeting took place in Paris in 1965. The book was first published in Russian in 2003.
