The collection opens with the famous fairy tale "The Adventures of the Yellow Suitcase" by Sofya Prokofieva, in which the magical Doctor's suitcase contains cures, a powder against sadness, an antiβbullying mixture and "Real Courage" candies. When the suitcase disappears, a timid boy Petka and a girl named Tom, who never laughs, must help the Doctor retrieve the medicines before they fall into the hands of a circus tamer or a test pilot, risking serious consequences. The story celebrates bravery, responsibility, friendship and kindness, and has been read by generations of schoolchildren. The book also includes several other popular works by the author, illustrated by Anna Vlasova, whose graphics have appeared in more than two hundred childrenβs books.
