Саша мечтает о путешествии! О настоящем приключении, далеко от дома, без надоедливых взрослых. И вот, мечта сбывается! Мама отправляет его в деревню к дедушке. Там, среди солнечных полей и щебета птиц, он встречает своего тёзку – Петю, который тут же величает его Шурой, чтобы не путаться. Петя – настоящий непоседа и выдумщик, и лето обещает быть полным захватывающих приключений!
А у Пети, главного героя повести "В Стране Вечных Каникул", мечта совсем другая. Ленивый и мечтательный, он жаждет лишь одного: бесконечных каникул! И вот, чудо случается – его желание исполняется! Он оказывается в волшебной Стране Вечных Каникул, где кинотеатры работают круглосуточно, цирк радует невероятными представлениями, а горы пряников и конфет кажутся неиссякаемыми.
Но даже в стране вечного веселья Петя понимает: настоящая радость – это дружба. И настоящие друзья – это бесценный дар.

Petya, the main character of the story "In the Land of Eternal Vacation," has a different dream. Lazy and dreamy, he longs for only one thing: endless summer vacation! And then, a miracle happens – his wish comes true! He finds himself in the magical Land of Eternal Vacation, where cinemas operate around the clock, the circus offers incredible performances, and mountains of gingerbread and candy seem inexhaustible.
But even in the land of perpetual fun, Petya realizes that true joy lies in friendship. And true friends are a priceless gift.
