Осень 1941 года. Украина. Васёк Трубачёв и его верные друзья чудом избежали ужасов немецкой оккупации, вырвавшись из плена военных событий. Эта потрясающая потрясения оставила неизгладимый след в их юных душах, мгновенно превратив школьников в по-взрослому серьезных и ответственных людей.
Найдя убежище в родном городе, они находят себе важное дело: помощь раненым в госпитале, расположившемся в стенах любимой школы. Когда директор, вернувшийся с фронта, затевает грандиозное строительство нового здания школы, ребята с энтузиазмом включаются в работу, вкладывая все свои силы в общее дело.
Но и учеба не остаётся в стороне! Они упорно готовятся к экзаменам, не желая остаться на второй год. А главное – каждый из них хранит в своём сердце заветную мечту, которая определяет их будущее и указывает путь в взрослую жизнь, полную надежд и неизведанных путей.
Autumn 1941. Ukraine. Vasek Trubachyov and his loyal friends miraculously escaped the horrors of the German occupation, fleeing the brutal realities of war. This harrowing experience left an indelible mark on their young souls, instantly transforming them from schoolchildren into serious and responsible young adults.
Finding refuge in their hometown, they dedicate themselves to vital work: aiding the wounded in a hospital established within the walls of their beloved school. When the school director, returning from the front, undertakes the ambitious construction of a new school building, the children enthusiastically join the effort, pouring their energy into the collective cause.
But their studies are not neglected! They diligently prepare for exams, determined not to repeat a year. Most importantly, each of them cherishes a cherished dream that shapes their future and guides them on their path to adulthood, filled with hope and uncharted territories.
