On Craig Island, north of the Arctic Circle, the exposed landscape offers nowhere for secrets to hide. When a tourist is shot dead under mysterious circumstances while hunting duck, the local elders are quick to label it an accident. The situation intensifies with the arrival of two adventurers seeking the remains of explorer Sir James Fairfax.
