The novel "The Departing Street" explores the invisible veil of feelings, thoughts and impressions that overlays human life. The protagonist, from childhood, perceives not only ordinary reality but also the secret life of emotions that manifest themselves through words and creative work. The narrative follows a classic structure, culminating in a collection of stories written by the main character himself. This artistic approach expands the story beyond the life of the hero, echoing themes from the earlier novella "Photographer".
