As inclusive education practices become more widespread globally, challenges persist for children and young people struggling with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. These students often exhibit disaffection towards learning and may be marginalized within mainstream schools, sometimes leading to them dropping out. This volume, drawing from the third International Conference of SEBDA in 2010, examines strategies and interventions aimed at addressing the educational and well-being needs of these young individuals. The contributions offer insights into methods for keeping these pupils engaged in education, whether in mainstream or specialist settings.
