Mickey Prada works at a Brooklyn seafood market and is trying to help his sick father. His life takes a turn when a customer, Angelo Santoro, consistently loses bets placed through Mickey. As Angelo's debts mount, Mickey finds himself targeted by bookies and facing threats from Angelo himself. When his friend Chris proposes a seemingly foolproof plan, Mickey agrees, leading them into a dangerous part of Brooklyn where survival is uncertain.
