In 1217, knights from across Europe embarked on a new crusade, gathering in Palestine to attack a Muslim fortress on Mount Tabor. Young Count Heinrich von Sternberg, who dreamed of fighting the Saracens since childhood, faced a choice in his first battle: kill a Moorish commander and gain glory, or save his brother. Sternberg unhesitatingly went to his brother's aid, as any true knight would, prioritizing the care of others over personal gain. However, not all participants in the crusade shared this ideal, and Sternberg soon had to confront this reality. Even when a holy war devolves into a pursuit of profit, a knight can still find a worthy cause to fight for.
