Машенька, хрупкая и тоненькая, с большими глазами, словно стрекоза, легко могла быть унесена ветром. Костя, без памяти влюбленный в неё, забывал обо всем, лишь бы быть рядом. Он был очарован её запахом и присутствием, отстраняясь от повседневных забот и друзей. Маша отвечала ему взаимностью, создавая иллюзию идеальных отношений. Однако вскоре Костя начинает осознавать, что его возлюбленная отличается от других, что ставит под вопрос их общее будущее.
Mashenka, fragile and slender with large eyes, resembled a dragonfly, as if she could be carried away by the wind. Kostya, madly in love with her, forgot everything just to be by her side, intoxicated by her scent and presence, detaching himself from daily worries and friends. Masha reciprocated his feelings, creating the illusion of a perfect relationship.
