This collection includes the novellas 'Semiramida' (2014), 'Annushka' (2015), 'Nikolushka' (2016), and the short story 'Nikitushka' (2015). The first two novellas, based on real events, depict tragic female destinies across different eras of the twentieth century. The latter two works are akin to kind fairy tales, conveying the sense of Divine Providence in human life. The author's central themes explore good and evil, free will, choice and its consequences, and the human search for one's place in the world.
