Preventive and treatment measures for thrombosis, alongside cholesterol reduction, antihypertensive therapy, smoking cessation, and improved diabetes mellitus management, are key interventions to mitigate this mortality and disability. Continuous education in antithrombotic therapy is crucial due to the constant introduction of new therapies and drugs.
