Rudolf Steiner, 2013
This lecture course aims to demonstrate why the celebration of Easter is an integral part of the universal history of mysteries. Rudolf Steiner discusses two types of ancient mysteries and the associated initiatory experiences: the birth of humanity from spiritual cosmic forces and the spiritual resurrection of individuals after passing through the gate of death. Examining the spiritual-cosmic aspect of human development, the author analyzes the stages of initiation in ancient mysteries and explains the timing of the Easter festival.
