Filming for a television program concludes in an old castle in southern Sweden. On the night before the national Midsummer holiday, following a party, host Michelle Karlsson is found murdered. The case generates significant public attention. Reporter Annika Bengtzon is assigned to cover the investigation. The situation becomes complicated when it's revealed that Annika's close friend was at the castle on the night of the murder and is the primary suspect. The journalist must uncover which of the thirteen individuals present is the true perpetrator.
