This album-book is dedicated to the life and work of Margarita Ivanovna Rudomino, the founder and long-time director of the All-Russian State Library for Foreign Literature. Her son, A.V. Rudomino, has compiled the most interesting photographs from the family and library archives for this publication. The materials vividly reveal the life and fate of M.I. Rudomino, as well as the history of her Library against the backdrop of 20th-century events.
