St. Nicodemus the Hagiorite, 2019
"Pedalion," meaning "rudder" in Greek, is a compilation of Orthodox Church rules with commentaries by St. Nicodemus the Hagiorite. This work is the result of extensive research aimed at restoring the significance of Byzantine canonical law. "Pedalion" is revered in the Orthodox world as a source of authentic church teaching. The Greek edition has seen numerous reprints, and this Russian-language version is published for the first time. The first volume includes an introductory study on the history and significance of this canonical monument.
