Since Klea entered the Mansion, she has been haunted by questions about who brought her there and why. With Liam's help she feels a slight warmth in the strange house, but both of them must confront inner contradictions and personal secrets that demand investigation. Liam tries to aid Klea in recalling details and identifying the perpetrator, yet his research and the map become increasingly perilous. From the dungeon, two "dangerous" figures escape, accompanied by gray ghosts seeking vengeance, adding new threats.
