Investigator Alexandra Andreeva, part of a secret FSB unit, is assigned a new case deep within the Siberian taiga. An incident at a radar surveillance facility tracking enemy military objects results in the death of an officer. Upon Andreeva's arrival at the remote base, the situation escalates rapidly as the number of fatalities rises to four. The investigation becomes complicated by a connection to a missing helicopter from a nearby gold mining cooperative and an ever-increasing list of suspects.
