This publication explores the artistic design of Soviet-era children's books, drawing from the extensive collection of Nina and Vadim Ginsburg. It features over two thousand book covers and two hundred endpapers, created by the country's leading artists from the 1920s through the post-Soviet era. The artistic design of children's literature was often a less ideologically driven field, allowing for considerable creative freedom among graphic artists. This freedom is reflected in the diverse themes and stylistic approaches showcased in the album.
