Эти авторы были верными последователями учения и духа святителя Игнатия (Брянчанинова). Их жизнь и сочинения точно выразили основной принцип духовного подвига их учителя: постижение Священного Писания, правой веры и жизни по евангельским заповедям через чтение отеческих писаний.

This collection features a thematic selection of thoughts on crucial aspects of spiritual life. It includes reflections from notable Russian ascetics of the recent past: Schema-nun Ardaliona (Ignatova), Reverend Abbess Arsenia (Sebryakova), Schema-hegumen John (Alekseev) of Valaam Monastery, and Hegumen Nikon (Vorobiev). These figures were devoted followers of the teachings and spirit of Saint Ignatius (Bryanchininov). Through their lives and writings, they profoundly expressed the core principle that guided their spiritual endeavors: learning true understanding of Holy Scripture, right faith, and living according to the Gospel commandments by reading the writings of the Church Fathers.
