Рюрик Ивнев, известный писатель-модернист начала прошлого века, представлен в этом сборнике. Он с энтузиазмом встретил революционные события и в 1920-е годы возглавлял Всероссийский Союз поэтов. В книгу вошел роман "Несчастный Ангел", который не переиздавался с 1917 года. Также в сборник включены рассказы, ранее публиковавшиеся в различных дореволюционных журналах и не входившие в другие издания. Особое место занимает неизвестная пьеса "Сергей Есенин", посвященная великому русскому лирику, с которым автора связывала многолетняя дружба.

This collection features Rurik Ivnev, a modernist writer who gained recognition early in the last century, well before the October Revolution. He enthusiastically embraced the revolutionary changes and, in the 1920s, led the All-Russian Union of Poets. The book includes the novel "The Unhappy Angel," which has not been republished since 1917. It also contains short stories scattered across various pre-revolutionary journals that were not included in other publications. A notable addition is the play "Sergei Esenin," unknown to many readers, focusing on the great Russian lyric poet with whom the author shared a long-standing friendship.
