Ordinary objects like a wardrobe or a mirror can become a portal to a world full of wonders. The protagonist discovers such a door and finds herself at the center of events. She is welcomed as an honored guest, promised kind adventures and magical gifts in exchange for agreeing to stay at the prince's court. However, behind the fairy-tale facade lie the secrets of sorcerers and princes, and the laws of magic can be cruel and dangerous for the unprepared.
