The Horn of Valere, an artifact capable of summoning heroes of past eras for the Last Battle, has been stolen by servants of the Shadow. The Great Hunt, foretold in legends, begins to reclaim the Horn. Whoever gathers the reborn heroes will gain dominion over the world. The situation is further complicated by the return of descendants of warriors who conquered lands across the ocean under King Arthur Hawkwing, demanding the ancestral territories be returned.
