Парни с характером тренируют тело, бреют головы и занимаются вымогательством на рынках. Численность банд растет, и мегаполис становится тесен для них. Кеше всего пятнадцать, он живет с матерью и отчимом в Люберцах. После детдома, куда его сдала мать, парень привык к суровой жизни. В новой школе он быстро находит общий язык с «люберами» и присоединяется к одной из спортивных группировок.

In the final years of a great country, teenagers lose their former goals and sense of purpose. They form gangs, seeking new diversions in alcohol, drugs, and fights. Determined young men train their bodies, shave their heads, and engage in extortion in the markets. The number of gangs grows rapidly, and the metropolis becomes too small for them. Kesha is just fifteen, living with his mother and stepfather in Lyubertsy. Accustomed to a harsh life after his time in an orphanage, where his mother placed him at birth, the young man quickly connects with the "Lyubers" at his new school and joins one of the sports-based factions.
