This study examines how Japan's nationalist right has utilized the internet to organize and amplify offline activism. It investigates the role of online platforms in fostering visible activism related to Japan's ongoing historical and territorial disputes. The book explores the rise of two key right-wing activist groups, Nihon Bunka Channel Sakura and Ganbare Nippon, detailing their involvement in significant pressure campaigns. These campaigns targeted media outlets, influenced historical memorials, and asserted territorial claims over the Senkaku/Diaoyu Islands.
