Paul SΓ©dir, 2019
The book 'Indian Fakirism' was first introduced in Russia at the beginning of the 20th century, evidenced by its two editions in 1909 and 1911. The author is Paul SΓ©dir, a renowned French occultist of the turn of the century. The Russian translation was done by A.V. Troyanovsky, a translator of mystical literature with an interest in the Martinist order. The 2019 edition features significant additions, as texts from the original French edition have been translated into Russian for the first time. Troyanovsky had previously omitted certain paragraphs, pages, and even chapters in the early 20th-century translation. This edition presents the complete version of the cult book on fakirism.
