В Катарсисе ночь длится шесть суток, как и день, и ночью появляются нелюди, очищающие землю от изгнанников. Катарсис хранит ценные дары: вода реки Самсона, подчиняющая волю человека, и плод вечности, способный оживить умершего. Изгой Злой возвращается в Катарсис, чтобы найти плод и вернуть к жизни погибшего друга, но оказывается втянутым в серию жестоких убийств в граде Покоя.
In the year 2051 the world known as the Box is inhabited by outcasts. These outcasts discover a portal to a completely different realm called Catharsis, where there are no robots, no implanted computers, and death follows an outcast like a shadow. In Catharsis the night lasts six days, matching the length of the day, and night‑time brings forth non‑human creatures that cleanse the land of outcasts. The realm guards priceless gifts: the water of the Samson River that bends human will and the Fruit of Eternity that can revive the dead. The outcast Zloy returns to Catharsis seeking the Fruit to bring his fallen friend back to life, only to become entangled in a series of brutal murders in the City of Peace.
