Rookie criminal profiler Lee Song-gyeong is approached by Lee Byeong-do, a notorious serial killer facing execution. He had remained silent during interrogations and refused all interviews, but now specifically requests to speak only with Song-gyeong. Simultaneously, 11-year-old Ha-yeon, the daughter from her husband's previous marriage whom he never mentioned, enters her home. Following the mysterious deaths of the girl's mother and grandparents, Song-gyeong attempts to provide care and warmth. However, Ha-yeon exhibits unsettling and frightening behavior, her gaze eerily reminiscent of the convicted psychopath.
