Lun Ch., 2024, Series: Dynasty
The emperors of the Qing Dynasty were the last monarchs in China's history. During their reign, the Celestial Empire reached its peak of power, influencing the future of both the country and the royal house. However, as the state grew stronger, the ruling dynasty's position weakened, particularly due to its dealings with European powers. Rising taxes, widespread corruption, natural disasters, elite abuses of power, and Western expansion fueled popular unrest. In 1911, a revolution began, marking the end of the monarchy and the establishment of the Republic.
