Alexey Fedorovich Losev, 2021
This work explores myth as an ancient method of comprehending the world and a primary form of human communication with the divine. It questions whether myth represents a concrete reality and a category of thought and life. The book examines the continuation of ancient traditions in medieval theological philosophy versus their rejection during the Renaissance. It also posits that science, in its struggle with myth, may itself be a collection of mythologems, suggesting each individual lives within their own personal mythology.
