In a bitterly cold February night in Glasgow, detectives DI Anderson and DS Costello discover a disfigured corpse hanging from a rope in the attic of an abandoned tenement. The victim is believed to be a criminal who has been hiding on the Costa del Sol for ten years and is linked to a decade‑old rape and attempted murder case involving a young student. As the detectives investigate, they learn that the killer’s accomplice, known only as “Mr Click,” may still be at large. A second brutal attack on a young woman confirms that the psychopath has resumed his murderous spree, forcing the investigators to employ every tactic to stop him before he strikes again.
