Этот словарь занимает особое место в отечественной арабистике и исламоведении. Он является первым и до сих пор единственным арабско-русским словарем, составленным на основе классических арабских текстов, в первую очередь Корана и мусульманских преданий (хадисов). Словарь предоставил отечественным арабистам доступ к оригинальным арабским текстам, отражающим духовную жизнь мусульманского общества. This dictionary holds a significant place in the history of Russian Arab studies and Islamic scholarship. It is the first and still the only Arabic-Russian dictionary compiled from classical Arabic texts, primarily the Quran and Muslim traditions (Hadith), the two main sources of Islamic doctrine and law. The dictionary opened access for Russian Arabists to original Arabic texts reflecting various aspects of the spiritual life of Muslim society. The expressive Russian language and unique vocabulary of the dictionary facilitated a deeper and more concrete understanding of the spiritual heritage and culture of the Arab-Muslim world.
