The world of Akslin is a realm of perpetual twilight, where shadows conceal horrors and the cries of children are swallowed by the silence. Immense, monstrous creatures, slithering into homes under the cloak of darkness, carry away sleeping children into an unknown abyss. Akslin grew up knowing this terror could strike her at any moment. Her people, for generations, have lived in the shadows, guarding ancient secrets of survival. Yet, even this knowledge proves insufficient against a new and terrifying threat.
