This book examines the role of Western government agencies and intelligence services in the formation and strengthening of Ukrainian nationalism. It explores how this ideology was utilized as a weapon against Russia. The analysis focuses on the efforts of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Imperial, Weimar, and Nazi Germany, and the United States during the Cold War and post-Soviet periods. The Ukrainian experience serves as a historical example of the dangers posed by externally stimulated nationalist ideology and Γ©migrΓ© representatives with ties to foreign intelligence agencies.
