Весенним утром енот Василий и Сибелиус обнаруживают, что запасы еды закончились. Отправившись на речку за рыбой, они сталкиваются с необходимостью выручать друзей. По пути им приходится искать орехи для белок, помогать лисьему семейству и спасать совёнка. К вечеру, так и не поев, они возвращаются домой, где их ждёт неожиданный сюрприз.

One sunny spring morning, Raccoon Vasily and Sibelius discover their food supplies are depleted. Setting out for the river to catch fish, they find themselves needing to help their friends. Along the way, they search for nuts for squirrels, assist a fox family, and rescue a owlet. Arriving home in the evening without having eaten, they are met with a pleasant surprise.
