“Tavrichesky Sad” is one of the first novellas by Igor Efimov (born 1937), a renowned historian and writer. First published in 1966 by “Detskaya Literatura” (Children’s Literature) publishing house, it remains his only work for children. This edition is the second in the “Rodnaya Rech” (Native Speech) series, featuring vibrant new illustrations by the talented artist Ilya Kreynes. (The first edition, published in 2011, was illustrated by Daria Bogolyubova-Kuznetsova).
